The program provides students with constructive feedback in a supportive environment on the establishment of and management of small business. Students are encouraged to develop an ‘elevator pitch’ – to develop their ability to express clearly what their business offers, and build confidence in presenting this to groups and individuals. The program develops practical and theoretical financial and business planning knowledge and skills. Modules from the Small Business Management Learning Resource Folder are worked through progressively in the classroom and guide structured home study and work based projects.
